I am very fond of pen and wash at the moment, i'm enjoying experimenting with different processes and techniques. Exploring how different effects can be made when changing pen sizes, when applying pen first or after the watercolour. There are just so many possibilities with pen and wash alone.
This little picture i did on a scrap piece of watercolour paper, it is approximately 15cm x 15cm and was only really a practice piece but after some lovely comments from visitors to my studio i have now also made it into a
card print.
I used a selection of Cotman watercolours and Unipin pens.
